We started our collection of grandmother’s hand painted china with this tea pot. We very carefully used it as our mold. We are delighted that it is the first hand painted porcelain reproduction of the Arts and Craft period. We have also learned that this shape would ideal for railroad dining rooms.
We have two sizes of teapots, the original 2-cup pot and our new 6-cup pot. Both are hand painted with 24 karat burnished gold. Because of the shape, they keep the tea warm for a longer period of time.
