The fine china pattern, Ida's Gift, was designed and created by Ida Lindsey in 1914. The pattern represents the diverse and eclectic range of Art Nouveau and Art Deco styles reflecting the sentiments and outlook of the late-Victorian era and the dawning of the Arts and Crafts movement.

Our reproductions of Ida's Gift are hand-painted on translucent porcelain by Chinese artisans. These reproductions remain true to the colors of the original 1914 set with bouquets of roses surrounded by a deep green offset by rich, 24-karat, burnished-gold angled accents. To maintain its long-lasting beauty, we recommend hand-washing these pieces.

Ida's gift was originally painted as a 2-cup teapot with creamer and sugar and one 8 ounch tea cup and saucer.   In our reproduction of this pattern we have expanded the pattern to include, a 4 ounce demitasse cup and saucer, a dessert plate, salt and pepper set and a 13 inch vase and a 4 1/2 inch vase.  You will note that the roses are more impressionistic somewhat like Monet.
